  • Why doesn't the Bark Collar work when the dog barks?

    Please first ensure to fit the Bark Collar snugly, yet loose enough to allow one finger to fit between the strap and your dog’s neck. Some dogs have weak barking, and in this case you will need to level up the sensitivity. A Thick coat on the neck area may also have a small chance of decreasing the sensitivity.

  • Why is the Bark Collar Triggered Sometimes in a noisy environment even though the dog is not barking?

    Though we have optimized the barking detection to the best, some environment noises may have a similar frequency to barking which may have a small chance to activate the bark collar. In this instance please lower the sensitivity.

  • Can I use The Bark Collar When Other Dogs Are Playing Around?

    Dogs will bark when playing and get excited. For the comfort and safety of your dog, we don't suggest using this Bark Collar while the dog is playing.

  • How do I know if I Can Use This Bark Collar for My Dog?

    The Bark Collar is designed for healthy dogs over 6 months old. Most importantly this bark collar cannot be used on unhealthy or aggressive dogs. If you are unsure whether this Bark Collar is appropriate for your Dog please consult your Veterinarian.

  • Can I Charge this Bark Collar with any type of charger?

    No, it is recommended that you charge the collar with the 5V rated charger because other chargers with an output over 5V may cause damage to the Bark Collar. The Bark Collar will stop charging automatically if the input voltage becomes too high and deliver a warning tone. Using a different charger can result in the warranty becoming void.

  • Can I Use This on My Puppy?

    This collar uses vibration and an increasing audible tone that could be frightening to a small puppy under 6 months old. We recommend using this on dogs older than 6 months.

  • Does it come with a remote?

    No, this collar is bark detection only, making it a hands-off training collar to stop unwanted barking.

  • Will my Dog Stop Barking Completely?

    The Bark Collar effectively and humanely stops MOST barking when it is worn. It should only be worn during periods of unwanted barking. If your dog is showing signs of aggression, or acting territorial, this collar will not work to stop the barking as that is an instinctual response from the dog.

  • Will it Harm My Dog?

    No, the audible tone and vibration are completely harmless to all dogs. The vibration is similar to the vibration on a cell phone, and the sound is an audible high pitch tone to get the dogs attention and redirect them to stopping their barking.
