this thing works like something out of Harry Potter! After the first day I noticed a measurable improvement in my quality of life and noise pollution. These should be standard issue with every dog people adopt or purchase. I'm just waiting for one that works on my teenager! Anything like that? I have three of the Dog Silencers now. I have two German Shepherds and neither of them bark. They are trained to growl if there is a need to alert me. And, they will quiet when commanded. So, when a new neighbor moved in next door with two untrained rude dogs that bark every time a breeze blows a blade of grass something had to be done. I have a husky mix, and this collar has helped him not bark as much at other dogs on the TV or outside!! I like that it’s not a shock collar, but it just vibrates and has the ringing only he can hear!!!
