What is ultrasonic sound?
In humans, ultrasonic sounds are beyond their hearing range, but they are irritating and attention-grabbing to dogs. It is a safe and effective tool for training dogs. As a result, your dog's focus is diverted away from barking and instead directed towards high-pitched sounds.

How long before I should expect results?
The effectiveness of this training device depends on how quickly the dog associates the sound with his barking although many customers see results within a few days. It is not uncommon for customers to report the dog barking at the unit in the beginning, or barking more than usual.
During the learning process, this is a normal occurrence. For best results, we recommend giving the device two to three weeks. -
What is the Audio mode?
If you use the "Audio" mode, you will hear the device activate. The bark sensitivity should be adjusted using this mode when setting up the unit for the first time. Audio mode is also an option for older dogs and those with poor hearing who cannot hear ultrasonic sounds.
Using the Audio mode when setting up the device is crucial to accurately gauging the microphone's sensitivity. Depending on how often you activate the device, you can tell if it is activating too often or not often enough. Depending on your dog's barking, adjust the dial up or down until the Ultrasonic mode is activated ONLY when the dog barks. -
How does the remote control work
Activating the device manually is possible using the keychain-size remote control included with your purchase. On-demand training can be accessed using the remote from 50 feet (23 meters) away.

Can the Bark Control Pro be used with an invisible fence?
Invisible fence systems should not be used in conjunction with ultrasonic bark control devices. It is because our bark control devices emit sounds very similar to those that are emitted by invisible fence collars. There is a possibility that this will confuse the dog and interfere with its training.

Will it hurt or harm the dog in any way?
The answer is no. Good Life products are designed to stop excessive or nuisance barking safely and humanely. It is not painful or harmful for dogs to hear the high-pitched training sounds, and they can bark if they need to. The collar will not prevent a dog from barking instinctively (at an intruder, for instance).
Although not harmful, the sounds emitted by our products may be too intense for puppies under one year of age as they are still developing their hearing. Please consult your veterinarian before using this product with puppies. -
Will this work through fences, walls, windows, or bushes?
No. A fence, window, wall, or thick shrubbery cannot withstand the high-pitched sounds emitted by our training devices.
However, sparse trees, window screens, chain link and wrought-iron fences should be fine.

Can I use the Bark Control Pro with a puppy?
It is not recommended to use Bark Control Pro on puppies under 1 year of age. It is recommended that you consult your veterinarian.

Can I use any AC Adapter?
It is not recommended to use any other AC adapter than the Bark Control Pro official AC adapter. Your warranty will be voided if you use another AC adapter.
