I have a nervous rescue dog that like's to bark at everything. I didn’t want a shock collar or anything to potentially add to his nervous demeanor. It’s really been helping (barking is a non issue when he has it on) and he actually thinks it’s great to put the collar on in the morning. The first time he barked with the collar on he stopped immediately and looked at me. I called him over and rewarded him for stopping and he didn’t seem upset at all. I highly recommend trying this product!

I was looking for a new bark collar that would actually activate when my dog barked the first few times and this one does! I only have the sensitivity turned up about half way. My dog wears it at night and we charge it during the day. The battery doesn’t last as long as others but as long as we remember to plug it in when we take it off, we don’t have a problem. It seems like he is barking less in general as well!

We have gophers tearing up our backyard and need something to keep them away since they keep coming back. After installing these, we have not seen ONE critter in our yard. Even the morning squirrel that would come around is nowhere to be seen (we also get rattlesnakes, so this is a win win). We bought 2 more units for the front yard and will be installing those soon.

I was very skeptical but ordered it based on reviews and the 45 day money back guarantee. I’ve had the device for 3 weeks now and it seems to work very well at stopping the neighbor’s dog from barking. It seems to have worked very quickly to my surprise. If you follow the instructions and guidelines for this product, it does work.

I purchased this to quiet a neighbors dog with an annoying bark (the owner could care less). The Dog Silencer definitely works. The annoying dog used to bark continuously, now it only barks once occasionally. What a relief!

I now have 5 of these all over my property and in my attic. Heard a mice in the attic and I put one there within minutes I could hear it run down the wall . Knock on wood have not seen the mouse or heard any other critters for 2 years. The rest are outside around different parts of the yard. One is set for groundhogs to keep them away from the garden, one under the patio to deter anything from nesting, best device around.I tell all my friends and family. If you think it doesn’t work you’re not using it properly . This is the easiest to set up.

What a game changer for our family!!
We had a bad issue with a nearby neighbor and an extremely loud, frequently barking dog. It was so loud we could hear it in all parts of the house. It would go on for hours every day unabated at really anytime and was driving us nuts. We sent a nice letter to the neighbors and called animal control, but they wouldn’t address it. After 1 day of plugging in this device we are back to silence in the backyard. We can hear birds and insects again which is such a relief. The Neighbors dog is now as quiet as a mouse !
I live on the 2nd floor and have it sitting in between my window and screen , I'm using the ac p I wer cord and im able to fully close and lock my window !

Since plugging this in the dog barked for just a split second and hasn't made a peep .
I have set to ultra, and just past the 3/4 mark on the sensitivity setting.

I have this Dog Silencer Max sitting in between the window screen and my window {2n floor} and thankfully I'm still able to use the AC cord and still be able to fully close the window !

I've tried other less expensive bark control devices without success. Dog Silencer MAX is the most expensive one I've tried and most importantly, the only one that actually works GREAT. I guess you get what you pay for. Trying other models, some required me to change the battery every 2 days. Others didn't seem to work or you couldn't tell if they were even emitting a high frequency sound. One model I tried claimed the battery lasted for 30 days but it was actually only about 3 days. Well, Dog Silencer MAX has solved all these problems: It has an optional 60ft electric cable that allows you to plug the device into an outlet and never needs batteries. It has a remote control pushbutton device that gives me great satisfaction to manually press when I hear a dog barking. (It also has automatic bark detection, but there is something very satisfying to actually pressing the manual button). And finally, there is a switch option I irregularly use that turns on a tone that a human can actually hear and I use this tone to check to make sure the device is actually working. So, in summary, this might be the most expensive device on the market, but it's worth every penny.

My wife and I were getting awakened every hour on the hour each night thanks to our guard Yorkie. I fly airplanes for a living so we had to do something about the barking. The crate didn’t work, drugging the dog helped us but not him. I found Barkwise via the world wide interweb and had to try their collar. We have used the Guardian for several years to deter lake otters, minks, and geese from messing on our dock. Occasionally we find a mess, but compared to our neighboring docks in the cove our dock is immaculate. Appreciate the cordless option so we can move the sensor around, but we usually use the cord.

I had a hard working Cairn Terrier that kept my yard free of squirrels and other rodents. I had no idea just how effective he was until he was no longer. For the past two years I’ve had squirrels everywhere, digging holes in my flower beds, digging in my pots and even ripping whole plants out! They chewed on my fence, my security cameras and anything else they could get to. I had regular trapeze shows in my backyard neighbor’s trees every day. Not anymore.

I bought three of them due to the large area and odd shape of my yard. I haven’t seen a single squirrel in the last week since setting them up. I’ve been able to remove the grates I had over some of my potted plants to protect the young plants in them. It’s been a complete game changer. I’m pretty sure most of the closer squirrels have abandoned their nests and moved back into their other nests away from my yard. I can’t recommend this device strongly enough.
