A Good Lifer won gold this month!
Patrick came to intern at Good Life with the help of a job developer from Commission for the Blind in October 2014. He learned valuable work skills, but he was such a rock star that we couldn't let him go anywhere else. His strong work ethic, high energy, and boisterous personality continues to make him a treasured member of the Good Life team. And most importantly, he's a huge Oregon Ducks fan, so he fits perfectly here.
Patrick is a heavy lifter in our shipping department, but his strength was truly proven recently. He won two gold medals and one silver for power lifting in Oregon's Special Olympics. He dead lifted 200 lbs, moving up a division in the process, making all of us here at Good Life excited and proud.
Way to go, Patrick!
