I am surrounded by neighbors who let their dogs bark day and night and who don't care about their neighbors, nor the CC&R rules of our HOA. Talking to the neighbors has been a waste of time. This has been going on for about 10 years with the HOA nor the City of Las Vegas willing to do anything about it. I tried different dog barking silencers and then about 6 years ago bought these. It took a while, but the dogs finally started to stop barking when the Dog Silencers would sound. Out in the desert sun for 6 years, 1 of them started to work intermittently so I bought 2 more, replaced 1, and installed 1 on my side of the block wall set on automatic. That really shut those dogs up fast. The range on the manual transmitter is also excellent. Try these. They work.
I was extremely skeptical spending this much money on this product. Out of the box and stuck it in the window to test it and it started working instantly. Instant silence, the dogs stopped. This was not even mounted and was 30 yards farther away than where it was going to be mounted. This has been running on batteries for the last month and been watching the dogs on video camera in the beginning, they would run up and bark, but then tilt her head and stop. This has brought, so much peace to this household. I really appreciate this great product and highly recommended it to all. I honestly believe that five stars is not enough.
Recently moved into a house with a neighbor that has a German shepherd. He would bark at me while I was in my driveway or when I sat on my deck. I tried to bribe the dog with treats to no avail. He would also bark late at night and wake me up around 5-6am barking out of what seemed like boredom.
Finally caved one night and ordered the dog silencer. The day it came there was immediate relief. He still barks occasionally but the frequency of barking and the length of barking episodes are both greatly reduced. Totally worth it.
