Pro Tip: Green LED Light on the Dog Silencer MAX
On the front left side of the Dog Silencer MAX is a green LED light. This light will flash each time the device is activated (either by detecting the barking dog, or when you press the remote control). It will flash for 7-10 seconds (the amount of time that the ultrasonic sound is being emitted).
You want to make sure that you only see this flashing light when the dog is barking-and at no other time. If you notice that flashing light when the dog isn’t barking, then the microphone is probably hearing other environmental noises-and the device is activating to those noises. You’ll need to lower the microphone dial on the side of the Dog Silencer, so it is only picking up the barking dog.
