I live in a 2nd floor Apt. in a private house, the owner of the house just next door has the dog and actually gets the dog to bark { she's a little off the wall ) ,

I 1st purchased a simple whistle that did work,
However.
I got tired of having to use it several times a day....
I have this Dog Silencer Max sitting in between the window screen and my window {2n floor} and thankfully I'm still able to use the AC cord and still be able to fully close the window !
the dog is as quiet as a mouse and I couldn't be happier !!
I've tried other less expensive bark control devices without success. Dog Silencer MAX is the most expensive one I've tried and most importantly, the only one that actually works GREAT. I guess you get what you pay for. Trying other models, some required me to change the battery every 2 days. Others didn't seem to work or you couldn't tell if they were even emitting a high frequency sound. One model I tried claimed the battery lasted for 30 days but it was actually only about 3 days. Well, Dog Silencer MAX has solved all these problems: It has an optional 60ft electric cable that allows you to plug the device into an outlet and never needs batteries. It has a remote control pushbutton device that gives me great satisfaction to manually press when I hear a dog barking. (It also has automatic bark detection, but there is something very satisfying to actually pressing the manual button). And finally, there is a switch option I irregularly use that turns on a tone that a human can actually hear and I use this tone to check to make sure the device is actually working. So, in summary, this might be the most expensive device on the market, but it's worth every penny.
My wife and I were getting awakened every hour on the hour each night thanks to our guard Yorkie. I fly airplanes for a living so we had to do something about the barking. The crate didn’t work, drugging the dog helped us but not him. I found Barkwise via the world wide interweb and had to try their collar. Tibbee, the aforementioned Yorkie, barked once with the new collar and instantly stopped. We’ve been sleeping through the night ever since. Thank you Barkwise, your collar works better than advertised!

We have used the Guardian for several years to deter lake otters, minks, and geese from messing on our dock. Occasionally we find a mess, but compared to our neighboring docks in the cove our dock is immaculate. Appreciate the cordless option so we can move the sensor around, but we usually use the cord.
I had a hard working Cairn Terrier that kept my yard free of squirrels and other rodents. I had no idea just how effective he was until he was no longer. For the past two years I’ve had squirrels everywhere, digging holes in my flower beds, digging in my pots and even ripping whole plants out! They chewed on my fence, my security cameras and anything else they could get to. I had regular trapeze shows in my backyard neighbor’s trees every day. Not anymore.
After having such impressive results from the bark control device (my neighbor’s FOUR DOGS) I decided to give the guardian device a try. I bought three of them due to the large area and odd shape of my yard. I haven’t seen a single squirrel in the last week since setting them up. I’ve been able to remove the grates I had over some of my potted plants to protect the young plants in them. It’s been a complete game changer. I’m pretty sure most of the closer squirrels have abandoned their nests and moved back into their other nests away from my yard. I can’t recommend this device strongly enough.
Works better than advertised for training and for pesky neighbor dog. Great product!
Installation took about 20 minutes and was pretty straight forward. We had to add a lock washer to the nut that attaches the solar panel mount to the base, it kept coming loose while installing. At first the neighbor’s dogs weren’t sure what was happening, but after a few days they shut up completely. Very happy with the results!
This device has silenced the barking of our Boston Terrorist. Love him to death even when he’s bad!
After 5 years of trying various techniques and devices, the Barkwise collar is the first that consistently makes my very active doodle hesitate before her typical jumping and barking at cars... Any barks are quickly terminated. Very pleased so far..

We have been suffering for over a year due to new neighbors who are unscrupulous backyard dog breeders. Our neighbor's yard has been emitting a cacophony of barking day and night, disrupting sleep and work. We were at our wits end and were considering selling our home.
We should have ordered this product months ago. I was concerned about the specification that the product needs a clear line of sight, which we do not have for a variety of reasons. I'm sure every situation is different, but for us, this product worked on the dogs within 24 hours, and works through a solid cedar fence.
I am not one to typically leave reviews, but this product is worth its weight in gold. It saved our sanity and our home.

Discreet Neighbor Pack – MAX The neighbor has 2 large German Shepherds. They bark non stop. I think they would bark if a leaf fell off a tree. Total nuisances to my community. I purchased this and really don’t know why I waited so long. But, to be honest, I didn’t feel I needed to pay for something and train someone else’s dogs. Well, I couldn’t take it anymore. God, this was the best item I’ve ever purchased. I haven’t heard them for weeks. Thank God.
Ten minutes after it was plugged in the mailman showed up. The dog barked once and that was it. Wish we had brought it sooner!
These people make a great quality product that actually works, and they have great customer service too. I think our dog got tired of listening to the device, because she decided to tear it to pieces. When I talked to customer service about this, they went far above and beyond to take good care of us, and we now have another product on the way. This time I will keep it up and out of the way so that the dog doesn’t eat it and it will keep the neighbors happy. Thank you so much for what y’all do!
Ordered 2. I cannot believe how well they worked on both my St Bernard and my bird dog.
When I first tried the product I had my doubts. But I can say I think it works fantastic. It takes a while to get the full results. I noticed a difference in the beginning. As time goes on I noticed even better results. It takes a while to rid the house of mice. I also noticed less bugs in the house too. My recommendation is to still keep up your traps. It takes at least a year or so to see great results. I was so pleased I recommended the product to my friend. She also was completely satisfied. I now ordered 12 for my son’s house he just bought because the people that owned it before thought a cat was the answer. NO! I highly recommend the pest repeller.
I ordered the bark control and have not received it yet but I’m hoping it’s as great of a product as the pest control product.

We’ve got 3 small dogs that feed off each other and will go absolutely nuts if one of them barks. We bought one of these collars and have tried it on our two worst offenders and it has shut them all down!
It’s great because it’s not causing any pain, it’s just uncomfortable for them to bark. Best way I can describe it is that they can still bark if their instincts tell them to, but they have to decide if it’s worth it.
Amazing product that even stopped the rage fests through the fence with the neighbor’s dogs.
I have this hanging up on the west side of our dog yard fence, attached to the solar panel so I don't have to worry about batteries. It monitors across the dog yard to the other side, apx 75'. Some of my dogs are more sensitive to it than others but it does go off when they bark. If they are all barking at once it may not work as well as far as the dogs hearing it go off. I have only had this a few weeks but think it has helped quite a bit so far.
I accidentally sent the remote control of my DS Max through the laundry and ordered a new one. It was cheap and works great!
