If (like us) you live near RR tracks (the track is about 300ft behind the house & southbound trains use our property to signal horn blowing for the upcoming crossing about 1/4 mile south of us) or a busy highway/roadway with ample traffic (we have 5 lanes of 55mph traffic about 100ft in front of the house), it will be challenging to "dial in" the appropriate sensitivity setting because the system will tend to activate in response to loud noises (e.g., train horns or loud vehicles) that aren't a BARK from a dog. While it's still not dialed in 100%, for the most part, the neighboring dogs that are outside (24/7/365) in a kennel have settled down over the past month that we've used the PRO. But there are times when they get into a hysterical barking fit that nothing seems to capture their attention to "Shut the [blank] up!" shy of a good shot of cold water from the hose or a dog whistle.
